We can take our time, if you’re falling behind we will just your keys and make sure your rig gets back in time for the picture then come back to find you. 😁

Kidding, we won’t leave you behind.

This year our director team and our team of volunteers would like to welcome our SASers to the SAS BaseCamp for a nightly campfire.

We would like to kick this off around 7/8p and ending around 10p.

We are trying to have something for each night so stay tuned for possible things like Cruiser Trivia!

Gamiviti’s whisky glass giveaway is Thursday and of course Raffle night is Wednesday.

All are welcome and encouraged to bring your camping chair, drink of choice and join us as we get to know each other more and enjoy the ambiance of fire and friends.

Hope to see ya there!

Safe Travels and Happy Packing!

You are welcome to private message me if you’ve got family-friendly ideas… 🙂
For those wondering where this BaseCamp will be or the food truck. Here ya go:

I’m thinking about hiking up to the Dinosaur tracks above Ouray on early Wednesday with plans to be back in time for the picture. If anyone wants to join me for the hike you are welcome to come along. I will do a little more research on what we should expect out of the hike and share it when I know more.
I’d be interested as well.
A day stretching the legs out of the truck will sound very good by then.

I love me some hikin! Count me in buddy.

Does the Ouray KOA offer free ice to fill coolers?
No free ice, but one thing they do offer that I have always appreciated is 6pack sized solid blocks of ice. Great for keeping in a food cooler.

I’m okay where I am, but do I need Texas plates to access the back portion of the camp?
HAHA well there will be several Virginia plates back there as well

Any backstory to this??

That can't be good.

Any backstory to this??

Pure speculation:
-Poor parenting and some mild abandonment issues.
-Kinda feels like there's some spousal chemical dependency problems mixed in there as well.
-Tuned radio from 1500AM to 570AM
- Recent loss of a pet
- Someone else at work was promoted to the fryer instead of him.
- Sun was in his eyes.
- Small seizure at an inopportune time.
- 3 16ga Kegs secured with Twizzlers shifted
- Realization of J**p ownership and couldn't face the world any longer.

Or just Inexperience in spotting and driving.
Who's to say? 😆

The transmission/transfer is going back in behind a new clutch. I should have the 74 back on Monday. Bad transfer input gear and worn transfer input shaft splines. A new custom one piece input gear that encompasses the spacer and the PTO drive gear. My billfold is whimpering in the corner but a guy's gotta do it.

I’m assuming the pressure plate got resurfaced ?

New clutch disc, pilot bearing, release bearing and pressure plate. The flywheel was resurfaced. New rear main seal, new transfer input gear, new bearings and seals in the transfer, new output flanges for the transfer, new rear pinion shaft seal.
