Me and the fam will be moving up to Durango the weekend before. I'll have street parking and a driveway if needed for camping. I’ll have tools and whatnot also should anyone need to do a quick fix.

You may also want to check out Phoenix Trail. It is beautiful. Are there any runs to Wheeler Geological area during the week? Looks like an interesting place, thinking about getting across the boring stuff quick and then loafing our way to Ouray, thought about checking it out on our way in.
Option 2
Can't go wrong with the 80 but there's generally more 80s at SAS than any other model of Cruiser.Help me pick...which one should I bring?

The 80 is turn-key.
The 74 gets new tires Monday. If I can get a clutch in it in time, it's good to go.
Both are capable of pulling the Kimberley
Sarah will be in her 80 no matter what I bring. Can't go wrong with the 80 but there's generally more 80s at SAS than any other model of Cruiser.
So I would say get busy putting the clutch in and bring something a little more unique, that sweet 74
Or bring them both![]()
I think that answers the question?
I like 50. Very chill.I assume you take 70 the whole way?
We’re planning on leaving Indy Friday morning, not particularly early, and at least start out on a basically 36 route across. Gives us the option to go slow or jump on 70 if the cruiser will handle it. I usually make it to Colorado Springs or Mitchell SD on day one in the Tundra. This is a little different.
Never been out there on anything but interstate but have motorcycle buddies that think 36 is the only way to go.
No reason to bring 2 80s so I vote to see the 74 at the event! Like Broski said, lots of 80s every year. The 74 will get lots of attention.
I think you’re right. More 70’s is a good thing (even though I believe we are comparing to cruiserdan’s original owner 80…)I think that answers the question?
Ugh…. Decisions we have to make for others… lol… maybe we do wanna see his 80!I think you’re right. More 70’s is a good thing (even though I believe we are comparing to cruiserdan’s original owner 80…)
Dan is the Original owner and it has a TRD super changer, It's a nice rig for sure but hands down bring the 74 !!Ugh…. Decisions we have to make for others… lol… maybe we do wanna see his 80!
@cruiserdan can Sarah just tow the 70 here as well. Bring the kitchen sink and the cats.![]()
Me tooTruth be told I have been on the hunt for a 73/74 for many years now so my opinion is a bit biased

This is our first year to bring an 80.

Dammit bring the 74 !!
Just switched from site P5 to site 46 and cancelled our res for CC2. Both are up for grabs now.HEY SASers!!
I spoke to the KOA this morning and they are pretty booked up for the week which is great!
There are two RV sites available in the back, #43 & #46. (43 will be opened after they speak to the person canceling so it may be a minute before it is available to our group)
If a registered SASer would like to move to those spots either let me know or call KOA and speak to Dove.
Looking forward to a lovely week with you all!
Happy trails full of fun adventures!

It has been a crazy few days for sure. We are safe and sound in Marble Falls and waiting until we can get to those locations to help however we can. Wife and I are both TXST Bobcats and have lived in the hill country for 20+ years.Hello All SAS’ers. Just wanted to send a shout out to all of our Texas crew and let you know we are thinking of you back east given the most recent tragic events. I did two of my engineering internships in San Marcos and Austin so have many great memories of weekends on the Guadalupe, Pecos, Brazos etc fishing, swimming canoeing etc.
Sincerely hope all of you and your families are ok.
If there are any local charities that need funds, feel free to PM me as I’s like to donate close to home as it were.
Cheers, James
update: CC2 snagged already.Just switched from site P5 to site 46 and cancelled our res for CC2. Both are up for grabs now.
I'm in 56, and we're just tent camping, and don't need the space 56 has. I just called them and inquired about switching to 43, but if anyone needs more room for a camper hit me up and we might make a trade work. Kinda looking for more trees for a couple of hammocks.HEY SASers!!
