Ouray Mountain Rescue is here with us this morning reminding us to be safe out there on the trails.
Here’s some info they wanted to share and to keep us all on the same page.

Great turnout so far. Registration will he open from 4-7 pm today. Come by and get your stuff if you haven't already. Also we will be selling hoodies, hats, long and short sleeve shirts at the Registration.

at least the needles were cleaned up in the parking lot, or I didn't see any.
Did you get to CO?
did the cargo arrive?

Because of your efforts above and beyond the call of MuD duty, bourbon was delivered and livers will be punished.

The only down side with the breakdown is I didn’t make it to Red Rocks last night to meet Bowfin and Mrs Bowfin for the concert….. they were not pleased.

@3_puppies thanks much for assisting @ElviMcCoy getting out of his predicament. When that particular part goes out you are pretty much Dead in the Water.

Everyone good so far? Any parts/supplies needing to be picked up between Colorado Springs and Ouray? Figured I would post up the offer before everyone hits the trails today.

Got an extra double cardan front driveshaft for a 60? The u-joints in the DC part of mine have like 3/8” of play all of a sudden and I’m getting heavy clunk noises and vibrations in 4WD :(

Those joints are not a separate Toyota part number, so the solution is … replace the shaft…

Drew, Craig, Miggs, Terrin and Sean with me on Imogene Monday. CB's stock '71 FJ40 waited its whole life for this and handled it with ease. Miggs transfer case wasn't entirely cooperative, but she did some amazing driving. Great trail leadering Drew!
