It's a walk-up, as are all 54 of the Colorado 14'ers. I've climbed 44 so far, Kay's climbed 37.

I think I'll throw my gear in as well.

Right on...still cool, but I’m down for some rope rock climbing if anyone else is!

Hunter and I can throw in climbing gear. He hasn’t tried climbing outside yet. Might be fun. Daniel have you looked at that area is it top rope with rope access or lead access?

Sweet. I didn’t stop, but as we passed it looked like top rope. I’ll bring all the gear for top and lead. I climb in and outdoor.

Heading out from the ‘Mitten’ today. Few stops along the way to see friends.

See you in Amarillo on Friday or Ouray next week. Excited to meet everyone!

Travel safe man. Holler later in the week and I'll shoot you the address.

Here’s another prize although not near as cool. I was just having some fun while the burner was out. :D

I am not ready, but getting there. If I can survive the next couple of days I will be all good. Almost all the major mechanical is done. Still have a ton of little things I would like to do but we shall see.

News from the front...

Spent the last 36 hours out there with some old college buddies. Trails are mostly good and passable. Imogene and Black Bear still closed, don't hold your breath for Black Bear, Imogene may happen before SAS. Certainly more mud than last year, wet conditions are leaving some deep puddles in the shady areas. I didn't run Mineral Gulch but heard it's significantly rougher than last year, evidently the road was damaged and some stones were put down to rebuild sections and it's rougher going. Poughkeepsie may have the same conditions.

All in all it will be another good year though, most trails open and great scenery. Looking forward to seeing everyone in a little over a week!

I'll probably be bringing a SUP and a mtn bike for anyone interested in joining. I am leaning towards the Ridgway trails for biking, open to some alpine lake options for the SUP. I'll be ready for play as long as the 80 makes it ;)
