The light on this one… diffuse yet hard. Love it.

I know I loved it too. That 80mm CB lens is mega sharp. Alot of people bash it for having one less element but all I have noticed is it vignettes a hair more in the corners on 6x6 maybe a hair less sharp in the corners on 6x6 but side by side with a CF 80mm I cant tell a difference. I did use the digital cfv and added a little vignette to this one but everything else is natural.

Can’t fake good light.

Edge to edge sharpness has its place, but generally, the subject isn’t in the corner.
Well put! I tend to enjoy using the older less corrected stuff anyway and even more so on digital because it just makes it look more unique in its rendering.

I have an adapter for my RZ67 lenses to my Nikons, it is a very unique look. I’ve adapted all sorts of lenses for digital to achieve certain results.

Prefer getting the shot as much in camera as possible. That’s why I love LF film still.
The image is crafted rather than taken.

This is so very true. with film its the only reason I still put up with the crazy cost of it now. I have a couple of Rb67 lenses that a friend gave me along with a broken crusty rb67. Long story short it smelled like boat bulge and diesel so much so I let the camera sit outside on the back porch for a month. I think they had it on a sailboat or somthing. The lenses are clean without fungus though. what adapter did you use?

This one (or an older version anyway). It’s a bit fussy but the results are worth it.

I had no idea that existed. thats cool. I am going to pick on up at some point.

That would be really cool. No rush but I would love to try that. Maybe I can write something about it for that blog I have been doing.

I forgot to post this Heep I found looking at a house to possibly buy. This was probably a cool cj5 25 years ago when It was parked. Whats crazy about it is the all the drive train components are still there just the body and frame have almost completley dissolved into rust around them other than the Dash. I was talking about this house with a friend and they said they remember 25 years ago the owners burring another jeep on the property because it was to far gone to put on a trailer. The amount of rust on the diff is wild. it would crumble if you picked it up. even though it was a jeep I was sad to see it in this state. Not much is salvageable.

I didnt notice till today - the key is in the ignition!

A couple of updates - I got the digital tac and it seems to work well. I set it up on the Number 1 lead but I think It goes to the coil lead. I was just testing to see if It works. It was pretty cheep. 45$ I had it set wrong as well. I had it set to 4 stroke 1 cy. I think if I did it 4 stroke 6 I would have to get it to the coil lead? IDK the way I set it seemed close. I gotta read the manual for the thing. its only a couple pages luckily.

Figured Id post a shot I got of the salt wagon the other day. I always feel like I am SAS in North Africa when Id rive on the beach without the top and the windsheild folded down.
