So during isolation, decided to give a crack at fixing the rust problem i have in the 80. Decided to use a steel epoxy putty instead of welding as it is a couple of spots all over the body. Grinding, scraping and sanding the rust spots first, applying a rust converter and then putting the putty over the top. The putty has turned out really nicely and if anyone's wondering, i filmed myself doing it in case anyone else wants to do it the same way.

I just saw this and I've done something similar on my rear passenger quarter panel. Not used any of that hard stuff just normal car bog and undercoat then I'll paint it later.. Luckily, I don't have any rust spots as bad as yours. I watched your vid on the tube, liked, commented and subbed ;) Nice to see another Aussie on here.

One of those things I hate to admit doing... But thisll have to do until I strip the interior and weld it. Stainless and rtv.
