Awesome truck man,
gotta a few questions for you.
Bought a 72 fj40 about a year ago. Just now getting the garage ready to work on it and money as well.
The inline 6 is toast. Want to drop a 350 crate in and 4L80e transmission behind it. Re-gear the axles w/ 4.88's and a 4" skyjacker lift w/ superior shackles. ARB front and rear air lockers.
Going to repaint the frame, axles, and I will get the body painted else where.
Spray rhino liner in the floor beds. As well as custome roll cage, front and rear bumper.
Since you've been in my situation, give me some guidance where to begin.
If you click the link below SEE THESE RIDES...you can see what i'm starting with.
Thanks man and once again awesome rig.

nice job

Nice Job,

everything looks like it was meant to be that way.

A lot of similarities in your story and what's going on in my driveway now, ha ha! I've got the frame out front and the body inside.

I like the color I can't believe it's a rattle can job, looks really nice.

Love the interior---What are the seats out of?

I hear ya, wish I could keep both, but having multiple cars in this economy and being a student was not working out. The 80 fits all my family and off road needs. Plus I have a spare 40, lol, :). But that one is going to me sold in the next few months hopefully once the restoration is done.

oh yeah, then theres the piggy in the garage, s*** has got out of control.....

cut the beer, get to keep the cruiser :flipoff2:
