no i havent got one yet I planned on cutting the center lugs in half and re siping them at all 4 corners when i got my hands on one to help em hook and get some extra life back out of em.

and she still has the aussie front and detroit rear. Not sure when ill play musical third members to move the aussie to the 40 and the detroit up front so i can weld the back. now that she is nearly ready(ish) again it can wait a little longer as i can hopefully have fiona at round up. if not ill wheel the 40. worst case ill just show up and steal one of your vacant seats if you have any.:flipoff2:

Wow didn't know you had lockers front and rear ... Bring It let's roll her over

oh yea, Fiona has been double locked for goin on nearly 2 years now.

How does it feel with the 4.56s?

dont know yet, i did some number crunching and it should be comparable to 33's with stock 3.70 gears. so IMOP not great but manageable. I need to finish up the ram assist before i can drive it, but first i wanna set my alignment before i weld the ram to the tie rod.

I think i will work on it tomorrow some as it will be in the 50's and not below freezing all day, so maybe ill set the alignment, finish the ram then mount my rear lower shock tabs. oh and then im supposed to lower a friends cobalt.

33s with 3.70 wasn't too bad.

exactly, so it may be somewhat tolerable... ish.

but i didnt think 33's and 4.56 was low enough either...

ill let ya know tho, around town i think it will be fine but it wont see much of that and the trail is where it counts.

I do 80% of my wheelin in single low and second gear which should be about your 1st in low range it's not bad at all

that is good to know.

Im still planning on 5.29's then a 4.7 toybox eventually, then when the 350 on pane goes in it will either get an NV4500, SM420, or SM465. Im thinking the 420 would be best with the 7:1 1st gear as i dont really need the over drive as she doesnt see the road much.

So are you saying that a doubler really isn't necessary? I find that my setup needs to be a bit lower, but I'm not sure I need 200:1.

20% of the time no.... you cant make it with out it ... well realy 15% would be first in the SM420 with is about like a toy box and a stock trans ... 4% is toy box and second... that is just a bit lower and 1% all hell brakes loose and a cram her in stupid low and hold on 180 to 1 is so cool .... and that 1% is worth every penny one someone asks how the hell I just did that ;)

Hmm... Last time I rode with you your cruiser went clunk clunk clunk dead spewwwwww oil...

your bad luck on that trail... I ran it 3 or 4 times no problem till you came along :flipoff2: that is why you cant ride with me anymore:lol::beer:;)

and I seem to recall your truck broken and the entrance to the trail

so all that stuff i said i was gonna try and get done today as it was supposed to be 50... well i didnt and it wasnt, turns out it only ended up being someplace in the low 30's.
So i will try again tomorrow i guess.

but to satisfy here is a video from roundup 09 of the pig from red line motor sports goin over, these guys were alot of fun to wheel with over the few days we were there

at 39 seconds i tell them it is going to go into a hole... at 48 seconds it goes in. (Muncie, the dog, was ok. there was a crevice just big enough for her to get out of the way)

1.) the hole (that swallowed the 37" crawlers)
2.) the roll
3.) what you do after your brother rolls your truck

ok ok your in luck my buddy has some quick videos of Fiona as well at K Rocks for lone star cruiser round up 09.

The smoke is from running on 5 of 6 cylinders, the squeaking is the u joint that was toasted that i just replaced.

nothing hard here just out making a quick run before sun down.

guess yall didnt like my videos... anyhow i did a little work on Fiona today before the rain hit, well finished pretty much right as it hit.

I decided to go back to the same place as before to flex it as it is close and the steady increase in height of the wall makes it easy to do, and there really isnt anyone around to bother me, or for me to bother.

i noticed right that the 16" wide tires were muuuuuch better in the soft field than the 12.50's i pulled off, i didnt sink down nearly as far.

I also noticed that the height of the tire made it much easier to climb higher sections of the vertical wall, i knew they would obviously help but i didnt think it would be that big of a difference.:meh:
Driving impressions, i still have no shocks and the tires are used and wore unevenly, not to mention bias ply so balancing is futile, so i have vibration from them as well as rear drive shaft. as for power feels fine for the most part, and as per my original thoughts feels like 33's on stock 3.70 gears.

1.) same place as last time for the flex
2.) got clearance at full stuff but not a whole lot of it.
3.) same story in the front of the front fender.

If i were to turn very far i have some rubbage of the tires to the fenders, but from my simple experiments not to bad, i think i may be able to expect more when actually wheeling it.
