Fiona is HOT!! I love white SOA 60s.

I posted up the measurements in my thread. Measured right at the end of the frame.

As soon as I get some $ for parts, I'll let you do my SOA, come on, I have provided lots of parts to you!! :hhmm::wrench:
I can't wait, as Fiona is pretty sexy

i saw that thank you, looks like im just a hair lower than you are with 33's and long shackles meaning if i had the same tires as you i would likely be .75-1" taller and im definatly good with that. still not as low as i would like but when i redo the spring perches i know i can get another inch or 2 lower, then if i move the shackles mounts into the frame i can likely get a little more.

its easy, longest part was prolly the cutting and grinding, then the c&t was pretty easy just gotta make sure its right.

help me out with the cost of some welding wire and i think we will be pretty decent shape.

Wow the 33's look good

I never thought this when I had 33s but they honestly fit the land cruiser great. Even spring over. I went to 35s but would probably never go any bigger. I've got spring over aal and 2 inch body lift and If you really work it you can make it rub a little yet.

you know now that i got it out of the driveway and got a couple of pics of it they really dont look horrible (also note it is no longer on lift springs) im pretty sure i can make the 35's rub by looking at how close the 33's are to the fender but i still want 37+:grinpimp:

and in the front I put big ass bump stops

fender_choppin_002.sized.jpg

on those shock lengths is that extended? what are they compressed?

I found pipe with a id of the od the the stock shaft .... but mines a trailer queen its never been over 45 ;)

the goal of Fiona is to always be able to be street drivable, but i may still look into this, it may straighten it enough to not vibrate as bad.

Have you thought of running military tires? They seem to be pretty cheap and work well.

yea i was actually thinking some double bead locks and some military tires just cause of price.

but i cant afford the wheels, and 16.5's are pretty rare.

do they have military tires in a 37" variant with 15" wheel?

NIce SO . .. if you want better on road handling I would recomend use shorters shackles .. actually I don't think you need that lift ..

extended ... to tell you the truth there stock 2002 Super duty taEe offs and I made them work

so basically you are running the fronts in the rear and the rears in the front. (pictures below) also the front (or your rears) are only 8" travel, i take it that is why you have them angled?

do you have the ford shock tower part number?

its hard to say sometimes, i think i loose sight of it here and there. for example im gonna run FJ60 front calipers for rear disk (after i build my bracket) and so i have no way of running an e brake... but i can run a line lock. the line lock passes tech for TLCA sanctioned events but DOT requires a separate mechanical type of stopping device. guess i can tell em ill throw my feet out. but ill bet a couple of bux and it will be over looked.

im thinking since i dont drive fiona much i will get some antique plates and that will help alleviate some issues along the way.

Ive been wantin to do the same on "Sancho"

lol, sancho.

i actually have a single f250 rear shock i had saved as a take off it measures right at like 28" but it will give me a good idea on placement of the others. I pulled this off a couple years ago to do this exact thing.

Thanks Joel.

That looks good, anyone around to wonder what you were doing out there in a field by yourself? "Now WTF is that guy driving his car that way for?"

I am liking the looks (more the price) of those shocks you posted up. I need to get the ford shock towers, too. I'm glad you pulled ahead of me in the springover race. Now I can let you do all the figuring for me and I'll just go buy the parts. :hillbilly:
