Sorry man,

I paid $900 for a set of take offs including lugs and BFG tires that were better than 80 % off craigslist. Can you get out of your deal? This would make the spacers from JD more affordable. I would pay the price for them either way. Not an area where i would take any chances.

TLC Dan

Wait...are you offering to sell them to me?

I just had these bored out so proper looking center cap will fit.... They are going on my wife's 200. They will be run w/o the rings, plans are to fill the holes and repaint.

Nice! Did you have to machine in a groove for the center caps to 'pop-in' place?

Sure did... nice and tight with a good edge for the clips to grab. They won't pop off, rather they need to be removed from the back side using a screwdriver.... or some really good rock contact from the front.

Yes, bore hole = no spacer. But also means no center cap... Unless you do what bjowett did.

Newest member of the RW wheel club. Scored a set locally for $400 without tires and put a set of 285/70/17 Falken Wildpeak A/T on them. Still trying to track down the source of a little rubbing up front when compressed and another when turning at half lock. Latter looks like light fender liner trim will do the trick. Big thanks to member @artwerks for help with the 1" spacers up front.

Nice! After seeing photos of yours and Nukem's, I think I've got to get me a set. I'll be interested to see where your rubbing is coming from. Are you lifted?

Nope, not lifted. I was a little surprised by the rubbing occurring when under compression. This occurs when going straight over a slight dip at around 25mph. The rubbing when turning should be easily remedied by a little fender trimming where I can see the rubbing taking place.

There's a member selling a set in Classifieds for $600 plus shipping. He's in Arkansas IIRC.

Thanks for the heads up. I think I might spend some time seeing if I can find a good local deal. It's gonna be hard though, when I get something like this in my head, I don't like to wait. :D

In the words of Jay-Z, "I got no patience and I hate waitin" :)
Good luck brother!

I'm looking at picking up a set of these. Any further updates or comments on spacers vs getting the wheels bored out? What kinda shop has the equipment to bore out the center of the wheels?

I'm also curious if the spacers offer a little more stability to a lifted rig or if it's noticeable.

Can you post a picture of this set up without the rings?

Can anyone comment on why they went with these 17" vs. the more available Tundra or 2006+ Land Cruiser / LX 18" wheels?

I'm still in the 16" camp...more than anything b/c the smaller 16" rim allows for more tire sidewall to use. I'm still on small tires though - 285/75-16...

For me it would be tire size and the added 10mm offset. I like the 285 width for the 100.

285/75R16 (33")
285/75R17 (34")
285/75R18 (35")

I ended up selling my RW wheels in favor of 285 width 35's. Had there been a tire I liked in a 285/80R17 size (35"), I'd would've kept them.

Extra offset would be nice. I have been searching for some 100 series 18" wheels for my next build phase but have somewhat resigned myself to either spacers or XD custom offset wheels...

The wife's 100 has 285/75/18 BFG's and they're nowhere near 35" tall. When I measured them new I think they were 33.5" @ 40 psi.
