SOLVED part 2. For the record....I ended up having to replace compressor. It would not consistently stay running properly. The ohms reading continued to show too much resistance.
I've been asked to make these tools available, by a few that know of them.
Hit "like" if you've an interest in the tool. I can match "likes" to views (Now at 2K views) and gauge interest. I can than work on getting cost down, based on interest...
I think my problem with Teyes may not be related to that connector. After I put everything back, the radio wasn't working. Turns out a fuse blew. After replacing that the radio works again. I'll probably not try to install Teyes again til...
Great, thank you so much. To confirm for anyone searching in the future. To convert a 2006 LC back to OEM Taillights, the following parts are needed.
As listed in TLC FAQ - https://tlcfaq.com/main/tag/tail-lights/
2006+ Tail Lamps (outer) RH...
No just adjustable width. The side screws make the adjustment. @2001LC OTC tool is probably better with the different mechanism to hold the legs at a fixed width.
I bought this SST ball joint separator as mentioned in the FSM. I added it on to my last Impex order for $45. It works great for upper and lower ball joints and tie rod ends so far! 09628-62011
Lower control arms do not require steering gear removal. Neither does uppers. Or CV Axles (FDS Front Drive Shaft)
Watch @2001LC videos and read his posts. He takes the time to document and post how tos...
Bet you used 1/2" ?
5/8" coarse thread will put plenty of pressure on the bushing without stripping out.
Then as you have alluded to: HEAT the mount the bushing is in....that is the secret to this. These bushing were far and away the easiest...
I did my front bushing and replaced the rear and side arms of my front diff on Friday afternoon last week.
I followed @flintknapper method and used a 1-1/2” hole saw to core out the rubber. Then I used a wood chisel since mine are flat on one...
Thanks
Toyota did the pre inspection. Is 155 low?
There’s consistent records and the TB and WP are new. So some work but the price is right.
Needs rotors
142-192 is spec. Should be done with WOT but techs suck. Did they do it WOT? Also engine must be Fully up to temp and test done at operating temp. Hack techs don’t do either.
Calipers: I recently looked at rock auto and liked the the Power Stop powder coated front reman calipers.
The list below is almost complete for my 260k timing belt job and coolant system refresh. I used a Mishimoto aluminum radiator to replace...
Skid plates (or any other product with similar time/materials expense): Keep it available and raise the price. You guys have very in-demand products and for most of us it's more important to get the "right" product than it is to hit some budget...
Register the VIN in my carfax and see if it has service records.
Compression test being low isn’t the whole story. There’s a specific process really and not all follow it. The fact they’re even is good. s***. I just bought a 260k mile 06 LX...
If you don't mind slower shipping of Japan mail to USPS you can get these globes from Motors Head Japan .. it can take 2 weeks or so if you go this route but shipping cost should be substantially cheaper...
Thank you all for sharing experiences with the impex. There is no way in hell I would be adventurous enough to order from them if I hadn't have the step by step guidance. They packaged very well and delivered really fast. It took one week for...
Reboot or Factory Reset? I had to complete two factory resets before mine started working correctly. For a factory reset you have to go to Settings/User/Backup-Reset. Reboot didn't seem to help me at all when I was setting things up.
Sounds to me like bad ignition coil or coils. As @JunkCrzr89 pointed out, one bad coil can trip several codes. If you clear the codes and run it until you get the first indication of rough running you may be able to see only the bad cylinder...
