I'll be there.

Probably riding with Ali (Ash: I'll be at your place just before 8:00).

Dad will be along with me as well. He'll drive his Taco to someplace in town and leave it--if he can get a ride back with someone to wherever he leaves it (I'm thinking at Double Eagle airport) when folks head back early. I think he's hoping to be back to his truck by 1PM at the latest (sounds like that will work with some other plans).

He can leave his truck at my house if getting back to it by noon it not too early. 4445 Rancho Centro 87120 I think Double Eagle is actually a little bit out of the way since I'm not aware of a direct connection between the airport and the west end of Southern.

Another good spot would be the parking lot of the Wal-Mart at Southern and Unser. Of course that depends on whether the early departing folks go out the way we came in. We'll only be out for a few hours so I don't expect that we'd get too far south.

Yeah I was rethinking that. Your house-ish sounds like a good spot, especially since you're driving out early, and will obviously be going to your house. ;) Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. I think we'll plan on leaving Dad's Taco there (unless he wanted to wheel it a bit--I'm pretty sure he doesn't).

I don't know who you guys are joking, but I seriously don't see that truck on a trail--ever.

Thbbbt! <----- this is a "raspberry." :D

I'd love to go, the lift for the 74 is sitting in the garage! Thats my goal for the weekend!

Does this mean build thread soon?

Just wanted to say I had a blast and thanks to everyone who drove me around.

Last three.

Two of Jon's 40 flexing it up a bit.

And here's what I think is a really cool artsy-fartsy pic. The camera was level for this shot, BTW.

I had a blast guys, even if I didn't drive mine. When I got home, I got the tub of the 40 back on the frame and actually bolted it down to the frame to get cracking with the next phase of building it...
