RFI: FST 40 measurement needed

I have a repro paki FST, the top has been popping out of the front track when I am faster than 60 MPH.

the windshield bracket measures the same as my friend's factory rail so I am thinking that it related to the cord diameter that is sewn into the top.

could anyone provide me with the correct cord diameter?
(my friend does not have a top for his truck yet...)

I have a Pakistani made channel and a friend of mine has a factory channel, they appear to be the same.
