Truck is looking great Pat!

Thanks Chris...How's the 100? Smooth as hell?? I picked up an 80 for my DD/P/T wheeler. We all need to hit up Pizza Port or something this summer....:grinpimp: Just had lunch with Dom the other day. He's married now:D

That's awesome about the 80. Loving everything about my 100 except the mpg's. Got mine from a friend that took amazing care of the truck. Sounds good about PP. Keep up the good work on the 55.

WOW**** 5 months later

:crybaby:Finally got a little time and motivation to continue my dream. Been getting my 80 up and running. Got some finish welding done on the engine cage and found some Corbeau seats for my Corbeau seat frame that I scored. Layng out the Roll Cage soon now...:p
Happy Holidays all you Pig heads....:beer:

Progress!

Cage Started......it's a new year!!!

Got the cage started. Decided to weld the whole thing in instead of bolt. Can get much closer to the body and weld to the body in more places. Makes the whole thing stronger since I removed the lid.......

nice

Stoke to see the progress! You gave me a tour when I came down to see the other cruiser. Thought you might have lost some speed. Glad to see that you are still working on the killer wagon!!!

Great looking Pig

Amazing work and killer design. Love the way you are continuing the body lines w/ the cage. Any recent progress? I have the Corbeau bracket and seats in mine. Love them. If you put the rear heater back in brace the seat bracket as mine settled into the heater and cracked the core. And I just realized I gave a heater tip to a guy running a topless Pig in San Diego. Probably no rear heater in your future eh?

Thanks for the great build thread.

I'm probably going to hold off on the rear heater until I get the interior layed out. I've got a rear heater from a 94 FZJ80 I might try to put in. It's pretty low profile...I plan on putting a Tuffy center console and supporting to the floor. Trying to find time to finish the cage and then paint the body/cage combo....

I have the Tuffy center console as well. That thing rocks. No AC so in the summertime all the windows are typically down. Nice to be able to throw everything in the console, lock it up, & leave it.

I need to add the floor support soon. If I come up w/ anything post-worthy I will throw it out there.

Hope you are able to find the time to work on the Pig. Cool story, great thread, and awesome looking build.
