Fuel cell almost done. I'm debating on Hard Anodizing to prevent any corrosion. Once the filler location is cut I'll see what the capacity is...

Wow you are doing some fantastic work on this project, thank you for the updates and photos. I really enjoy following along and hope someday I can see it in person..

When I built my aluminum tank I was thinking about alodine coating the inside to help with corrosion resistance but I ran out of time and just left it bare.

Alodine is inexpensive and can be done at home and leaves the aluminum an orange or gold color.

DuPont calls their process 225S cleaner and 226S a conversion coating but it’s just an alodine coating process and it’s readily available in quart(s) or gal(s). Although complete submersion is best it can be poured into a tank and sloshed around to coat the interior and sprayed on the exterior surfaces with standard spray bottle.

Ready to sell that H55 back to me yet?

I'll be your huckleberry, granted not without many disclosures, unfortunately.

I was going to text you last week to see what became of axles and if you had interest in selling the short side shafts, since my previous assumptions did truly make an Ass-o-me, but got it figured out.

Nonetheless, don't let go of those, since 'rare' long splined, without giving me a heads up!

And meet all you crazy f***s

Says the pot amidst a sea of kettles.

Getting the mounting done for this tank. It's gonna slip into a pocket in the front that will be padded and mount underneath with some flat/plate with a skid plate. Need to put a drain plug/ pick up lines and filler tube. Still have some engineering to do but coming along..need to weld some 5"OD tube below the coils to make an indented space for clearance...
