Put about 80 miles on her today. Got tag, ran errands, broke down. Cruised well at 70mph down the interstate with no issues. Really fun truck.

Some gunk in the hard lines apparently. What a pain. Glad it's out.

Very please with how well it runs besides the piece of mop somemone left in the fuel lines.

Is that what they mean by “In line” filter???

Might need to grab a mop and put it back...

Glad it’s running good though now you can go get a nice long trip in.

i guess they were "cleaning" it

I replaced every single soft line, but apparently there is some gunk in the hard line from the firewall to the tank. Soooo close

Was getting 9.7mpg today. That was flat footed all day, shifting at 4.5k rpm, trying to burn fuel. I can deal with that. My 80 got 11 when I was being super easy on it.

Some guy in a new Tacoma just took a pic of it while paying for gas!!haha

Thanks man

I tanked her up with premium last night, but next tank I'll try some non ethonal I think.

I hope all the crud is gone now. Have some honey-dos today, but going to work on the hard lines sometime very very soon. If she's still going strong, drive it to work 62 miles one way on Tuesday.

Have all the parts to completely rebuild the front end, but enjoying driving her too much right now to put her down for a day. REALLY want try out 4WD and dual lockers to she how much mountain goat heritage she has.

Could you take a picture from behind/front or both to see the stance with the spacers and the new wheels?
I will need tires eventually and might start looking for some LX wheels to make the jump to 16".

What I have right this second.
Can do more in morning.

With the lug centric spacers-hub centric wheels, it doesn't drive any worse than my sons 3rd gen Runner on 285 KM2s.

They are 1.5" spacers, but with the deeper back spacing wheels, it's actually more like a .75" gain (with same tires).

These synergy spacers are made in the same U.S. plant as the spidertrax.

Well, the long game on owning a cruiser is to know when not to work on it sometimes. It's mamas birthday tomorrow but she's in class allllll day, so pre-birthday today, I fixed her red boat that had swamped, went rock/moss hunting, and hung her aerial yoga thingie.

Play with truck tomorrow!
