Got the new mounts put in today.

Planning on tackling this next week. Any tips? Do I need access from the top/interior?

Front one's will be easy

Looks like the fronts will certainly be a breeze.

For the next set back you will have to pull back the carpet in the front seat area a little bit to access the hard ware.

Going back to the next set you will need to remove the 2nd row seat steps, pop the trim off at the bottom of the door and also pull the carpet up a little for access.

The rear ones can be changed from under the truck. If you crawl under the truck and look at the rearmost body mount you should see a square plug/cap looking thing in the body above the mount. You just need to pull this out to access the hard ware for the rear most body mount.

Also the two rubber bushings on the crossmember in front of the spare tire area do not actually mount to the body. They are only attached to the frame.

Goodluck!!!!

Huge help @leonard_nemoy, thanks!

No problem, when I have done them during a body lift I did one side at a time. I loosened all the mounts 90% and than swapped out one at a time. I also used a floor jack and a piece of 2x4 to slightly lift the body at each mount. This made them real easy to swap.

Flip that, they mount only to the body not to the frame. On mine it looked like I was supposed to go through the frame to get those loose, but thats a trap (pics here). With the rest of the mounts loose, just keep lifting the body till you can get a socket between the bushing/mount and the frame and they'll come right off. Otherwise everything he said is spot on, good luck!

Haha, yes you are right. I got confused on that one. I scratched my head on these, I had the rear carpet pulled and side panels pulled looking for access in the back.

Haha yeah figuring out how to get access to the mounts is the hardest part of the job, took me longer to get those 2 mounts than it did to replace the whole rest of my suspension

I just ordered all new body mounts from febest EU. How long did the shipping take when you ordered yours?
Do you or @PossumPoacher have a list of part numbers that you went with on Febest? Looking for all the body mounts. Thank you

According to the dhl tracking the package is already in Vegas

Ordered August 29th
Delivered September 7th

Not bad considering it came from Germany and the holiday.

The parts seem like good quality.

Fun stuff

Part numbers for future reference:

The rear body mounts use a Toyota bolt part # 9010510040

The 3 body mounts in the middle use bolt part # 9010510017

And all of the body mounts use two nuts, part #'s 9418401000 & 9017910015

And sorry but I didn't get the parts #'s for the front mount bolt because it looks like a pain in the ace to swap so I am only doing the other mounts lol.

Hey Leonard, how many of the rear and middle bolts does one need assuming my mount list below is correct? Then I'm assuming qty 2 for those two nuts for each mount? BTW, I'm still missing the HDJ81 rear of frame mounts. I want to stick with OEM.

52203-60042body mount (under front seat feet)2
52204-60042body mount (under front seat feet)2
52205-60010body mount (under rear seat feet)4

52209-60050body mount (outboard of rear springs)2
52241-60030body mount (rear of frame R NLA)1
52242-60020body mount (rear of frame L NLA)1
90105-10040rear body mount bolt?
90105-10017middle body mount bolt?
94184-01000body mount nut?
90179-10015body mount nut?

The 3 middle body mounts (per side) all use the same bolts so you would need 6 total.

The rear mounts use there own bolts so you would need two total for the rear.

They all use the same two nuts on the bottom so you would want 10 each of both the different nuts.

Honestly there is a good chance you don't need to replace the hardware. Mine were bent on one side from the time the rig was rolled at sand hollow 😂

P.S. don't forget about the little bolts that bolt the front and rear mounts to the frame. Each front and rear mount has 2 bolts and I don't know the part #. I just cleaned mine up on the wire wheel and re used them.

Also these bolts were super tight on my rig and I could tell the heads were going to round over. I stopped and hit them with the propane torch from the bottom of the bolt and then they came right out easy peasy.

Crusty......

Cleaned it up a bit and added the engine mounts for convenience:

Front engine mount212361-17011
Rear engine mount112371-66030

(1-front of frame)
2 x 52201-60021
(2-under front seat feet)
2 x 52203-60042
2 x 52204-60042
(3-under rear seat feet) and (4-under rear seat)
4 x 52205-60010
4 x 52206-60010
(5-outboard of rear springs, no through bolt here?)
2 x 52209-60050

Anyone have the HDJ81 part #s handy that's interchangeable with the FZJ80?

(6-rear of frame)
1 x 52241-60030 (R) (discontinued part) HDJ81?
1 x 52242-60020 (L) (discontinued part) HDJ81?

So far, $774 shipped to door.
HDJ81 JDM rear most cushions as follows: RH 52241-60020, LH 52242-60010.
