I’ve got the staked nut off, washer removed. How to I get the flange off? Just a hammer, or am I missing something else?

What should that flange look like when it’s removed?

Tap it out with a hammer. Probably "welded" on with old grease, oil, and dirt.

Edit to add: it is just one piece.

The dust shield can be popped off after it is removed but it should come off looking like this.
