Recommendations - Roof Rack for 2000 LX470 w/sunroof

Any recommendations for a roof rack for a 2000 LX470 with sunroof. Would love to see pics of yours and or websites to order. Prefer no drilling rack. I like the Gobi but the website says 2002 plus models.

But to through in my $.02 - I would highly recommend both Dissent and Gamiviti! I have owned both and they are both great. Currently running the Dissent but I don’t think you can go wrong with either.

SKINZ what have you been finding with our 2000s? I bought one last week and am working on eliminating water leaks. One of them potentially could be from the loose roof rack on mine. When I look for replacement parts I cant find them present in the diagram and after taking a spin to the local Lexus dealer today they couldnt find them either and suspected the rack on mine could be the factory option and they could not tell if newer models would fit. If youre swapping out would you consider selling your stock? Thanks!!

my family has used Frontrunner on our FJC, and even mounted the FJC roof rack to our 100 with a few Thule bars. It looks and fits nice!

to the OP subject: does the front runner have a sun roof opening though?

FrontRunner uses slats, so you can just skip the forward slats that would be over the sunroof. It's not quite long enough to cover the sunroof, though, so the leading edge is over the sunroof and there's nothing to be done about that unless you want to fiddle around with the base/tray placement. I ended up going with FR because of the insane amount of accessories/add-on mounts they have -- way more than anyone else.

After you get a Gamiviti all other racks just seem silly. Some might be more functional for the roof top tent crowd but otherwise nothing else really comes close.
