Hey everyone,

I recently noticed water leaking from the sunroof and started troubleshooting the drains. I poured water into the rear left sunroof tray corner, and it drains out the back just fine. However, the rear right side didn’t drain at all, so I tried inserting a weed whacker line — and unfortunately, I accidentally pushed the drain hose up into the housing.

Now I’m trying to figure out how get it back through the hole leading out the car. Has anyone else dealt with this?

Appreciate any advice!

did you get it cleaned out?

I would try and use a piece of mechanics or tie wire and feed up from the bottom, attach tube to wire and pull back down.
you may need a helper to assist the tube while being pulled
small amount of liquid dish soap on the grommet for lube

Yeah got it cleaned out and followed what you said. Pretty much worked, I ended up taking the grommet out so the tube was easier to fit and then put the grommet back on. Thanks for the help!
