I need a recommendation for a replacement rear bumper for a 91 4Runner with a receiver hitch.

It needs to bolt or weld to the frame; not the mickey-mouse setup from the factory.

The receiver hitch needs to be in the center of the bumper and not under.

Also, one without a receiver hitch is okay - I assume I could cut and weld one in.

I looked at alot of them, and ended up with a marlin bumper. Im happy

These guys will build just about anything you want at a reasonable price:

Kennesaw Mountain Accessories

I had good luck with them building one for my 85 but this recommendation comes with a very strong warning as they seem to have equal amounts of praise and complaints from various sources. You absolutely will have to be patient as they are pretty slow. They don't keep any inventory and only build to order.

I run the allpro though....basically the same principle.

Heres a sketch up model of the bumper i started last weekend.
I used 2-1/2" Square tube and 1-1/2 X 3" tubing and mounted it to the rear crossmember on my Runner, I couldn't go directly to the frame it would interfere with the 63" chevys. I can take a real picture next time I get to go home.
