Thanks Geoff but that would not give me the original shape. This as an ‘81 with a lot more shape in the floor.
If this doesn’t work I might go for a reciprocating hammer, they are not that hard to build it just takes time.
So finally got home and got some pics of the progress of that folded floor I mentioned earlier.

Might give you some inspiration for your floor which is looking great!

every time I read/look at your thread I think to myself....this man is an unbelievable fabricator.....and has the patience of a saint.
Just very busy with a lot of work related stuff which leave me little time for the rest.
As for fabrication I just look at how it was and try to copy it. Take the complex stuff and break it into little pieces that are easy to make and put them together.
When this 40 is done I have to find something new to clear my mind so no rush.

Back at it, well for just a few hours that is.

Decided that the bends in the floor were not even enough.
Tested with different bends untill I got the perfect fit.

First I made a small wooden block for each rib size.

And used that as a template, here for the wide rib.

Then I used a piece of wood to get the exact same angle every bend.

And above for the narrow rib.

Lost some time checking out my neighbours new toy.

This thing blasts water with a ceramic grit. We did a test on a cilinder head, it was brand new without any damage from the blasting.

Not connected to the company but this is the best way to clean engines and parts.

As always, excellent results Michael!!

Hijack ....

The glucosamine, you suggested, has helped tremendously!! Thank you for that!!

Now... Where's Nolen (@gator25)? ... been missing him and starting to get concerned...Has anyone heard from him?

Hijack over

Good to hear it works for you too.

I haven’t heard from Nolan either, he has not been on for over a month.
Hope everything is allright.
