Created the profile of the ribs,

and transfered them to the base plate.

Next I wil fill up the space in between and make a hammer form to start creating ribs.

Tried to hammer a test piece. It did work but requires a lot of hammering.
Not something my old body is happy about.
I decided to fabricate it in pieces for now.

Decided I am going to create most of the floor new in sections.
I can create the length of the ribs but the back part is more difficult.

Made a blank for the end piece of the ribs.

Escaped from home and made my way to the shop for 1,5 hours.
Set up a piece of steel for the rear part of the floor and marked from what point the ribs would start.

Marked the positions of the ribs taking the original floor as a template.

After marking all the ribs but one.

Next I E-wheeled the positions of the ribs to prestretch the material.

Pre-strechting will limit the distortion from the press and hopefully limit hamering and keep the material straight.

That is dedication and patience my friend. Looks like you have a handle on it so good luck!
Thanks, going to take it step by step and see where it leads me.
