Sample skids arrived today and they need an ~1/8" tweak to get them where I want them.

I grazed a rock on Friday that hit right at the outside edge corner of the LCA bracket. Would have been interesting to see how the protection would have worked. Did you happen to widen the final version from the proto? I still think it needs to be wide enough to extend just past the leading edgesof the LCA bracket to protect the corners.

I made it 3/16" wider on each side (.375" overall).

I am a little confused [sometimes happens easily...] are these ready to go? Should I be ordering them already?

All are pre-sold at this point.

First round was sold out and I had to order more for an Oz company. So, I added extras since I had already sold out.

As of lunch today I had 18 more available to be pre-purchased, but down to 13 already. I hope to have the Rev 2 samples tomorrow for re-fit with my changes and then a week after that for the final production run, if all Rev 2 changes are good.

so....?

Skids are shipped from the cutters and I should have them Monday.

All boxes and hardware kits are made. So they will all ship Monday as well.

Jason thanks for all your hard work, its great to have a vendor who listens in to the users of the forum and supplies their request/needs so quickly and efficiently!

I want you to know I appreciate you very much!

@reevesci - Do you have any photos showing the flare outs on the attachment point in relationship to the skids. Maybe a photo from the rear tire looking towards the front of the vehicle? Thanks. Still debating.

I think of Jason as more than a vendor, he's got the same bug for these things we do.

Thanks guys!

Well you can thank Andrea for my addiction to cruisers! She is the one that got me into my first 60 after being a diehard Bronco and Scout abuser in my earlier years. Over the past 14 years I've had 29 cruisers (mongrels, DDs, choppers, buggies and restorations)

I mainly do this to fund my cruiser habits and fun money. If it weren't for such good people in the cruiser community I would have quit years ago. Its just hard to say no to good guys.

Your welcome and 29 is not a bug, it's just nuts! :-) but we get it.
