It would be a shame to cover those welds with paint

I have actually considered clear powder coat over the raw metal and leaving all the color on the welds on my personal bumper...which is the one your seeing in the pics, BUT I think I'll go ahead and just powder coat it black.

Aux fuel tank ?!?! Is this in another thread? If not, it should be. Oh wait, finish the bumpers first. You have a great looking product.

It's upcoming. New thread will be created for it after the bumper is finished.

Thanks

Yes, i love the water idea!

Probably never be a problem, but double wall separation would be nice for not drinking the gas.

I'll be starting a new thread for this project once it get's going.

Also, for a dual tank (water/fuel), you won't have to worry about the contents mixing... ;)

Now I'm forced with making the hard decisions, like what to do on the liner, liner the bumper sans swing out, paint, PC......hahaha.

Good job to the both of y'all. Very impressed with the design, engineering, execution, quality and functionality of the expedition bumper and all the other products discussed.

I'll be waiting on the front and sliders. Hahaha.

Pleasure meeting y'all. Look forward to the upcoming project, and send a heads up when y'all are headed to Disney, even though I'll be in the FJC for awhile longer.

Thanks again,

Chris

So many options! I know how you feel... There was a time about 2 months back where I started unbolting my flares, then I stopped myself.

I appreciate you taking the time to come over. That bumper looks good on your rig!! Glad we were able to make that one work with a flareless 80!

And don't worry, we'll need someone to proto the front bumper as well. ;)

That is one sweet bumper. Amazing skills with the process. The bumper fits very tight and sleek. Great build. really enjoyed reading the thread
