Gary- the 60 looks great!!!! I can only imagine what the green and white 55 would have looked like with those axles, drivetrain, and wheels. Can't wait to get a ride in the 60. Gary S

Thanks Gary
I needed a little more creature comfort. I want to be able to jump in this and drive up to see my buddy in Alaska, so that's why I went to the 60. Ron (Scrapdaddy) is doing an amazing job on the old 55

Badass man!

The latch pictured above is sold by McMasterCarr (http://www.mcmaster.com/) They are called toggle clamps.

Gary,

Really nice cruiser.

I am in Dover, by Mt Snow. Love to see your rig sometime soon.
Need about a month before mine is road ready.

Was the wheel approach expensive?

I vote for silver! Feel like I don't see many of those.

Cheers,
Sean

Hey Gary,

Just seen your build. Glad you're back at it. The 60 looks like it's ready for Alaska! Good Job!

I'm trying to do right by your 55, just a slow process. I'll say it again, Thanks for the opportunity to own such a nice wagon.

Good luck with the 60 and look forward to seeing your progress.

Mcmaster -Carr only has the destaco style with a metal base. I am looking for one with a cast handle and base

Gotcha. Sorry man!

Does anybody recognize this latch and who makes them?

That latch is a DE-STA-CO. I found them on amazon. The cast ones are the 7500lbs ones. They run about 100 bucks.

Thanks. I just ordered one.

I haven't done too much for a while. It is going to get painted in March so I need to finish it up. I did some more work on the bumper
