We saw a whole Cayenne/Touareg crew at Uwharrie. Like 10 modified vehicles in all. I think they said they were from Charlotte. Not sure how many trips I would take with that platform but they were having fun.

Apparently sold this afternoon. Buyer was gracious to give the seller above asking ($30k) but I think it was worth much more. Had a friend scheduled to see it tomorrow morning but its actually good that it sold as we are going to be seeing an FJ45 pickup next month and that is really what his heart wants.....

Happed to pass by this on my way to work and figured I’d check it out. It has some body rust in the usual spots (bed and tailgate) and the trim piece on the top of the windshield is missing. Also has some dents and scrapes, and looks to have had a respray at some point. Interior looks fairly clean.

Frame and undercarriage looked ok at a glance. Some surface pitting but didn’t notice any real cancer.

I don’t have any association with this, just passing it along. It’s located on the side of 210 just north of spring lake.
