I recently rebuilt my steering box with new bearings and seal kit sourced from cruiser outfitters. I did not upgrade the scepter shaft.
Since I'm replacing my motor, I decided to bite the bullet and order a new box after rebuilding this one. Then I thought I would keep it as a trail spare but since I'm really not doing much hard core wheeling I think I'll move this one along to someone else. Comes with the pitman arm. I have not noticed any spline twist.
I cannot warranty this box because it's simply a re-sealed box, no machining or anything else.
Here's what I have in materials:
New Bearings: $154
New Seals: $227
Power Piston gear nut: $10
Rebuilt Box Asking: $600
