Has anyone had good experience with any of these radiators from Rock Auto?

I have used several TYCs in my hundys over the years, with good luck....but I got them from Amazon at about the same price. One or two of them actually were in a KOYO labeled box.

I got a CSF installed 5 years ago, no issues with fitment and crossing fingers while I type, no leaks.

BUT, the ONLY reason I got it is because there was a radiator distributor in my area (not selling to public anymore, sadly) and they had it in stock, so I didn't have to deal with shipping damage. I wouldn't have bought it if it needed to be shipped. And 5 years ago I didn't know that Toyota of N. Miami was in the loop with the South East online discounts, so I would have paid 3 or 4 times more for a radiator that needed replacement asap.

BTW, used OEM cap, not aftermarket there..

Do you plan to own this vehicle for a while? If so, go OEM.

My Koyo lasted about a year before the seam at the top by the hose inlet split.

OE lasted from 2007 - 2021
Koyo lasted from 2021 - 2022

Similar stories with all aftermarket brands. Some have great luck, others not so great. It's not worth the risk to me to roll the dice with parts on a truck I drive every day with my family.

I have a 10 year old, probably 150k mile CSF in mine. No issues.

Personally, I went to the Lexus dealer. 450$ picked up.. after “Lexus days” promo discount on the online price.

The extra 200 is well worth the piece of mind. It replaced a leaking denso unit that looked fairly newer. The OEM unit appears to be much higher quality. Hoping to get at least 10 years out of it.

Cooling system is not a system to skimp on IMO

I got the KOYORAD A2282 and it has worked great for me

I had a TYC alternator fail at 3 1/2 years. TYC offers a lifetime warranty but you have to go through the reseller. I bought it from Amazon and they are useless for any warranty or RMA. Customer service morons transferred me around and kept reading "it is outside the 30 day return window" from the script. Not a single one could comprehend the concept of warranty service or RMA. So I will never buy TYC again, but if you do, stick to RockAuto. I only chose Amazon for that part because they could guarantee my necessaey delivery window.

If you can time the purchase with one of the SE dealer sales, there’s little advantage buying aftermarket. I just picked up a $320 Toyota radiator at Serra’s 15% sale, would have been even less if I’d bought at their 25% sale a couple weeks later. Denso was around $280 shipped. Considering the OEM comes with foam and a new cap, the all-in $ difference isn’t much.

My local dealer wanted $680 for one btw

Yes my dealer wanted $640 I got one shipped for a Toyota dealer online $400ish shipped. Hopefully it arrives undamaged.

I have had the CSF radiator from Rockauto. Zero issues or complaints. In and out in 45 minutes

OE not discontinued. Maybe supply chain issues, 4 years ago.

I know you can still buy them from the dealer but my understanding was that the t rad radiators weren't available for the 100 series anymore. If I'm wrong that's great news.
Had to put a denso in my Tacoma of similar vintage. Same reason.

OE Land Cruiser is T.Rad and only available from the dealer. OE Tacoma is Denso USA. No T.Rad available ever for Tacoma.

You can buy J100 Toyota radiators all day long from any dealership. I just got one a couple weeks ago.

Refreshed my memory from the big radiator thred. Seems there were rumors of toyota using a different source for their radiators in the 2020-2021 time frame. Also dealers may have substituted aftermarket radiators at the time when doing repairs but charging for OEM. Further reports of OEM radiators leaking within a year. That's what led me at the time to replace with the Mishimoto. But if Mr T is making the radiators, that would be my first choice. But I've been happy with my Mishimoto(all aluminum) They can have issues, but if its good, its good.
To the OP's questions: I would avoid the aftermarket radiators that have plastic tops and bottoms. Way too many reports of failed radiators within a short time frame
