I love getting accused of not thinking things through LOLOL Or That's never going to work. Today I finished up the air dam. Using strap steel sandwiched between the lower frame horns Now they are drilled out so I can adjust the angle of the air dam from 20 to 35 degrees, Giving us options for better air flow. The 20 degree angle should push the air up over the top of the hood. I can't do anything about the windshield. The 45 goes in for exhaust and alignment Thursday, Its been a lot work I am really happy with the way everything came out. Also finished up the clear front diff cover.

Major test drive yesterday went really well The 45 is running fantastic and handles really good. The exhaust came out perfect with the header flange I can swap from the muffler to straight pipe. Its been a long tough build. We will have some bumper options My plan is as we finish our runs make changes and see what works best. Thanks for all the support and comments. This time next week we will be lined up staged on the Bonneville Salt flats.

Your timing for being in Bonneville is awesome, there will be a full moon!! Being on the salt flats on a full moon is out of this world. Around 20 years ago my cousin and I were driving cross country and planned to be there on a full moon, a few cervezas and a little smoke and I felt like Neil Armstrong. You’ll love it!!

Meh. That’s really cool and all, but our boy is doing more with less, I think.
Also, bring that fancy back out in 50 years! :)
Haha When I was at Cruiserfest last year it was on display. Its Super cool and definitely has the HP. We are loaded up and pulling out in the morning. Its really starting to sink in. We are going to Bonneville and I am going to blow my own horn for a minute. I built my 45 in my backyard with mostly hand tools. No computers No fancy shop, some Harbor freight grinders a 110 welder with a half broken dial indicator LOL No matter what happens I will be able to walk away knowing I gave it my best shot. We will be the First Toyota FJ45 to run on the Bonneville Salt Flats. Thank you everyone for all the Support. Its my story and as far as I am concerned your all apart of this adventure.
