Drum, correct output shaft, bearing reatiner are about $1200 retail. Need a good used backing plate which isn't availabe new (yet)
Backing plates are the same as the one piece transfer case which are fairly easy to find. Are the output shafts and bearing retainers new aftermarket. I know the few I helped sell here in the US the three pieces were used. The brake drums could could be turned. Bearing retainer and out put shafts were in great condition. Have a few of these setups in Australia. Bearing retainers and output shafts are used and brake drum is aftermarket Made in Japan. At $1,200 your getting into H55F 40 series top cover range. Guessing installing a H55F with a hand brake on the transfer case installed is upwards of $7K?

I don't think I paid that much for mine.

that price would be new drum and output shaft made in Japan, and I am reproducing the bearing retainers since there is a very limited supply of original NOS left. Not sure what you mean about the top cover, I don't really see how that is relevant.
my current retail on a new H55f, new transfer, and parking brake is just over $7k for the combo sitting on a pallet... installing on a vehicle probably $7-8K ish additonal parts labor in 2025 numbers. All in all a $15k ish project dropped off and picked up

Need pictures and more information on intended use!

But....

If it's already set up with 60 series drive train might make sense to source some 60 series axels and driveshafts and have the drive shafts modified to fit....perhaps relocate spring perches to lengthen wheel base a little as well....would end up a little wider which may or may not suit you but parts are easier to get.

My 40 is more then 50% 60 series.
