Got shutters off, shelves out, all the curved glass out and and only 3 broken ones. Ideally I’ll put all glass back in, but depends on cost. I have some friends that are suppose to help me Tue. So far it’s just been me

I did get two friends to help and we dismantled the greenhouse into about 5 sections that will allow me to haul it home. I’ll need to disassemble more at home to be able to move stuff in place. It was very sketchy using cinder blocks to slowly lower the roof to trailer height.

Kid had an assignment to Research and present info About a planet or dwarf planet, Make a model or drawing to present...
Theo researched a tiny dwarf planet called Haumea, which is not spheroid but oblong because of its wicked-fast axial rotation...It also has rings and two small orbiting moons....

Anyone here make leather key fobs? I want one for my Toyota/Coffee cabinet and I’d like it to say Coffee.
More fence done. Put some temp gates up until I can build the metal frames for them.
a good idea /project for a homemade clamp from a car jack
Had a key fob made by a friend and have it setup. Still needs a piece of wood on top and some casters.

older son instigated reviving a desk project I started for younger son a couple years ago...
So yesterday I added legs, with adjustable feet for custom surface height ranging 2" (with current hardware), cut, sanded, routed and began the BLO treatment of the top.

Had to move the front legs for stability (now that I look at it, perhaps the legs would be best in the center of that short straight section rather than on an apex) then squirted it and mounted the top.

Every year we do a little more work on our tree train stand. Eventually there will be mountains, a tunnel and trees.
Christmas gift for my son:
Kindling Kracker XL, mounted to a sturdy base made out of pressure treated 2x4's, 4x4's, and a 2x6. Top is a couple 2x8's that has been joined with biscuits/glue. I added a pair of 5" fixed casters to the back for mobility. You place your foot on the small section of wood, grab the top hoop, and tilt back. Makes moving it around so much easier (I need to add this to the one I have). Painted the base semi-gloss black, and did the top surface in BLO with some oak stain mixed in. Couple coats of paste wax, a cheapo HF 4lb hammer, and it's under the tree.

Did that pretty much every year for my kids; now my oldest son is doing it (with the same train set) for his kids.
Finally adding some slabs to the hearth. Center piece is about 200-300lbs.

With the corner desk comes want for an ambient lamp..... I guess i make lamps for my kids
Base frame is an equilateral pyramid. I 'think' I can get a lamp kit for it (just not locally).
