It's just amazing that there's an 80 under there! You can tell, other than by looking at the coils, with the wheelbase being, what, 4 inches longer? What are your bumper plans? Oh, I've been meaning to ask, that ain't original paint is it? Looks too nice.

that looks purdy!

so no poser flexin shots to go with it?

29 hours and thats all we get?!? :flipoff2:

Looks good, I thought there were pictures earlier of it with a tube bumper? I guess I'm remembering something else. It reminds me a little of a 40 series with the front tires so far forward in the fenders.

Great work, al. That is some fantastic work to keep it looking so stock.

what are you going to do with the opening in the front fenders?............if anything.

I am sooooo jelous..........................I am going out to work on mine right now

No tube bumpers on this one, Your prob thinking of v-wag.

As for opening up the fenders I was going to orginaly do a quarter chop but now I am going to keep it more stock looking. Ill post up what I do but hopefully it will look mostly stock.

Tofu, yulp orginal paint.

For the bumpers I was going to and prob still will build one of those high clearence slee bumpers that you see on 80 series but, looking at the truck this morning before work kinda had me thinking stock bumpers would look great too. The only reason I think I am going with the high clearence slee-like bumpers is because the front axle is pushed so far forward and I think that style bumper would work really well with it.

Ill try to grab some more pictures of the little things over x-mas break, but I might get side tracked with a toy box, or RC crawler I got from my better half:doh:

Hmm, maybe...

I didnt realize this took you 2 years, but it looks really good. I thought a frame swap was pretty good but compared to this its nothing.

It better have a 60 series body...

more work done.
Pictures pending...

I got the rear shaft done
Filler tube (PITA)
