You gonna keep the Shred The Rad sticker?

Wow, a picture when she actually was road-worthy-ish. Essentially all of the glass is toast, so no :hillbilly: stickers moving forward. Unfortunately the PO even pitted the corner windows while booger-welding in their cage. Idiots.

Sorry guys, no updates, will see how things are going with Georg.

Alright she is on the operating table, and herr Doktor Esterer has started dissecting the beast. :grinpimp:

Day 2, the frame is back from media blasting, and looking like it did in 1965. The motor is out of the crate and "ready to mate", m8. :D

Georg and co. have been busy today.

This is going to be a snazzy rig at the end of it.
What sort of clutch are you running? Mainly asking if your going to hop up your 1hd-ft a bit?

Toyota 1HD-FT 300mm flywheel and pressure plate, with an NPR truck clutch disc so it can mate with the H55F. Will handle anything I plan on doing to the engine...such as a one of Graeme's turbos. First things first to get the build done, and maybe upgrade somewhere down the line.

You'll love it and you will get a crazier spec than mine.
Plan on intercooling it I hope.

I just picked up a 1hd-ft ct26 for my 75. Down the road I hope to get another gturbo for it.

This is going to be a sick truck.

Sweet build CycloSteve,

It is great to see someone going all out on a rebuild to make an awesome 45. I hope you give that engine a clean and a fresh coat of paint to match the bellhousing/gearbox, as they are looking the goods:clap:

I love reading builds that I can steel ideas off:cheers:keep it up!

This is an exciting build. Can't wait to see more progress.

The next two weeks are going to be pretty intense. Plan on getting the powertrain stuffed, SOA, CNT, belly pan, track bar, ....... lots of FC magic.

And then it's my turn again.

Bend, Cut, Weld, then Cut Some More

Alright, FC187 has been bending, welding and fabricating a bit in the last week. Ten hours from now will be at the shop to see her in person...just a few money shots to put things into perspective. Purists, you may want to close your eyes.

Should be a rolling chassis by the end of the week.

Thanks for coming by today steve, good to see ya!

Thanks guys...I have to give the fab-skills credit to Don AKA FC187 of FC Fabrications. He is the master of building the suspension and frame to last ten lifetimes.

I basically have the ideas of what I want done with the truck at this point, and keep Don and Georg busy, with the requisite dinero infusions for their bringing this to fruition. This thing is going to be crazy for sure, and have the single timeline goal of having it done by the 45 Run this year.
