Thanks for fixing up that T-case right. It took about a month (probably 2500 miles) for my homemade spacers to start grinding down. I think that once it starts the wear accelerates

Yeah I waited to see how this COVID19 was going. Hanging out in Ouray wearing masks doesn’t sound enjoyable and relaxing.
The sooner I get my septic installed the sooner I can start building my cabin and rent it out AirB&B and make some money to build 3 more.

Allowed the Red RTV to setup overnight. Came into work and filled the split case with gear oil.
Also received the OFFROAD TOWN LED lights so decided to install them since I had some time.

Decided to take the long way home

Local MUD member @cheeese and I are headed to the Crater Lake Property this weekend for a campout.

Still chilly this morning there. One of the reasons I got the property was to avoid the heat.

Today was a good family trip to Badger Lake, marked with red pin.

I really would have liked to take more pics of the drive in but it takes about an hour to drive 12 miles and the family just wanted to get there to play.

I made the decision and purchased a Holset HX30W Super turbo through Rodney at BenzForce today. Gave me price of $599 with shipping. I still need to get the oil feed supply line and fittings. Also need to get the 90 elbow off discharge of compressor to intercooler. He didn’t know if the oil return fitting was the same on the HX30W and the Super. Should be able to swap the exhaust side of turbo so it can connect to the Marman flange on the downpipe.

Kids and I are headed to Crater Lake property to meet friends from Pennsylvania tomorrow. They want to see Crater Lake and we hope to catch Comet Neowise over the lake so stay tuned.

My friends figured it’d be about 5-530 before getting to the property. Decided to explore the area more.

Found access to the Williamson River with views of Klamath Marsh.

Headed toward Mt. Scott on the eastern edge of Crater Lake National Park. Quiet area and Ryder wanted to drive Snowball and was the perfect place.

Ended up finding this remote empty campground at Scott Creek.

We thought we were the only ones except for the bat in the outhouse.

Great spot for lunch.

Scott Creek is ice cold. It’s so cold it burns your feet. It was a great spot for a lunch with the kids.
