More logistics.
If I am less than clear on ANYTHING, my apologies. A lot of this stuff is being worked out on the fly. It's not like landcruiser resurrections have any kind of track record to go by.
We currently have enough people committed to coming to help work on the truck; I've deleted my original post where I asked for more volunteers. It is EXTREMELY ackward to have to defer great cruiserheads with the best of intentions, but I know from previous experience that there is such a thing as too much of a good thing. Thank you all for your kind thoughts and good intentions.
To all who plan to overnight: it's probably best to prepare for this as an urban camping trip. Sleeping bags, ice chests, folding chairs, etc. You can leave the teddy bear at home; Gene has volunteered to be the little spoon for EVERYONE!
Art, you have no idea how much I plan to lean on you! I told Gene today that with HJ Dan to help you and him, I expect you'll have the wiring harness swapped in less than two hours. I'm already thinking of where else your 'assets' will come in handy! We'll talk again before the weekend. Thanks again for your imput on the 16 ga.
Since sleeping arrangements are still very much up in the air, use of your Toy Box would be GREAT. I don't think the city can say much about it as long as it's still attached to the tow rig, so I'm all for it. As for me, I'll be camped in the back of my 45 like usual.
Georg, you blow me away! I don't know if it's the new marraige, fatherhood, the new business, but most probably a combination of all. The 'new' you just plain ROCKS!

I had a funny [and I mean that in the nicest way possible] feeling that Ryan was doing a good chunk of the dirty work on the powertrain. It's just his style to stay in the backround. So I'm calling you out too.......
RYAN, YOU DA MAN!
I gotta go hug somebody!
