Well mounted my Hi-Lift jack inside the GX today. Used a set of Jeep hood mounts ( very stout pieces ) and mounted it to my box in the cargo area.
everything fits like a glove. No noise and very solid. It is out of the way there and I am still able to get to it when needed...hopefully never.

Hope you don't have to use it when your truck is loaded up. :)
I can flip the rear seats down and get at it from the back doors as well as from the rear. A also have a bottle jack in one of the drawers too

Don’t track gas mileage in a Cruiser, it’s never a good thing.

It’s all about smiles per miles…
I was super happy with my milage going to CRR ... Of course a steady 60 to 65 the whole way down resulted in 17s in the mpg!

Quick Trail Report:
Peters Mill Run/Taskers
Easy trail

Hit the front factory skid once or twice. Dragged the factory running boards a bit on an “extra curricular” section that was to the side of the trail. Dragged the OEM tailpipe once. But overall the trail was stocker friendly.

Three annoying things of the day:

1) Getting stuck behind lifted jeeps on 35” tires that for some unbeknownst reason were going significantly slower than would be reasonable for even a subaru.

2) Kind of boring doing the run solo.

3) Seeing mud splashed inside a factory new engine bay is not the most pleasant sight.

Overall a good inaugural trip in the new truck. Reinforced what we all know so well… 2” lift, heavy skids, sliders, bigger tires and bigger trails will be in the future for this rig. Not sure how long I’ll hold out but I’ll try.
