Third time's a charm!

Great business practice!
I wish I could run my business like that. It will take several drinks at coal mine to lay out the complete train wreck of fail this thing has been.

I was at peters mill taskers gap last week. spray that mud off asap ... i waited a week and it was a bit more difficult to get off than i would have liked but otherwise a very stock friendly trail!
Good as new… :)

I guess I should look at the good side. I got 2 boat anchors out of the deal.
you can use them when you take your firearms out for a boat trip .....

Make them into some kind of a "fail award" plaque for fall crawl for the guy who has his 4x4 system fail while wheeling.

hope i NEVER win that!
Then you’ll have to make sure to never hop your rear wheels or you’ll grenade the rear 8” diff. Just go easy and steady and let the atrac do its thing if ever on a high angle uphill section.

Alternatively you could adjust the pinion/carrier bearing preload in the diff. They start to get out of adjustment after 130Kish.

Monstaliner "Sans panties" last week. Made the 2gal kit work. Intentionally didnt paint the inside of the doors so they wouldn't be as camouflaged when they were open. Added some hi-vis safety reflective tape for added effect. I'll do the same for the top inside of the tool box just in case I need to be visible.

I had planned to do a led headlight swap and install a light bar behind the grill, but I couldn't get the four bottom grill clips off. Maybe I'll tackle that next day off. Ditch lights and strategically placed 360degree lighting planned as well.
After that maybe I'll rob some parts off the other vehicles. Want to zero in on a dual band radio to install too. I'll be buying twice, for the taco and Rubicon.
Think I've figured out how I want to carry some jerry cans for emergencies. My tool box has an angle on the bottom corners. If I lift the box a few inches with a spacer[ L-trac maybe] I may have enough clearance to install a mount and can either side that locks. Pics later for that idea.
The washer fluid tank finally crumbled, so I ordered the smaller tank that bolts up near the firewall. Still waiting on that.
Swapped most of the crumbled vacuum line for red silicon. Dont think it'd been touched in 100kmi.
I've been toying with the idea to brass my bumpers. This is where you heat up the metal with a torch and mechanically deposit brass with a full brass wire wheel. Oddly enough I have both a blacksmith and goldsmith that work for me. They and I are unsure if the chrome will take the brass, but I think itll look cool and still kinda match the truck.

Wondering if I should add a locker now. A rear locker on ice or snow in a pickup without weight concerns me a bit. It'd have to be a selectable rear or maybe I can get away with a lunchbox front. I have zero INTENTION to wheel the truck, but I'm building it to boogie if needed. Ideas, ideas, ideas.

Tried troubleshooting the noise I have coming from the front wheel today.
Replaced pcv on the 200.
Washed the daily and did an oil change. Not sure when Toyota last replaced the oil filter... that sucker is stuck! Even tried getting it off with the impact and no luck

Nice. How's the frame? On my Taco frame, I bought the Saf-T-Caps and rear spring hangers and am waiting for my shoulder to heal enough (shoulder impingement and am doing the therapy) to replace the spring bushings/spring pins. Then I can prep the frame, remove the tank, and have the new steel welded in place. I removed the bed bolts last fall that were pretty rusted and ran tap through them to facilitate bed removal. I put a few back to hold on the bed in the meantime.

Just surface rust. Truck spent its life in Ca, CO, and Louisiana before coming to VA.
I basically got it for half regular market price.

I started painting the frame when I added the hitch, and I suppose I'll finish it eventually. The cab had been been brushed up against a tree and repaired I think. A little rust in the fender under the chrome trim and the rear passenger taillight area of the bed had some pinhole rust. I used some POR epoxy putty to fill the holes, treated the area, then wrapped the truck in plastic.

Got my ride back. The Orion does not leak and power steering with the Saginaw adapter is nice. Oh and all hail
@OTRAMM for a job well done and putting up with manufacturers BS.
