Pretty quiet in here... what are you working on? (2 Viewers)

Great to hear on grip...I was definitely lacking at the ranch in the goo, but still fared pretty well overall, in fact much better than expected with the BFG's. Fortunately I have a spare set of LX wheels just waiting for some skins, so I can interchange on daily & beach buggy driving to mud monster pretty easily...:p.

Not intending to rain on your parade, but had you aired down the KO2's at the Ranch? If so, to what PSI?

The Falken's have a good looking footprint. Hoping they work well for you.

All good, yes, aired down to 20psi. And honestly not complaining in the least on the BFG's, in fact I was pleasantly surprised on how well they did given the slimy goo that we had in some spots. In our rush to get out for the first scout with the Bobbie the trail boss, it was just @prharper leading the way with Bobbie shotgun and myself and my son in my rig, we didn't air down and the 200 paid the price a lot more than I did. There was a light drizzle and we happened to go on what was probably the slimiest trail of the whole park...the 200 needed a little tug to get out of the muck, but the 80 did just fine. If the Falkens give me 10% more mud grip, I'd be more than happy with that... ;)

Well I had to put the Lexus in the shop for some basic maintenance so while it was there I bit the bullet and just had them swap the stock rims for the FJC ones I got a few years ago that I had street tires on. Also had them put in new TPMS sensors so that damn tire light is out on the dash now!! Damn that thing did its job and annoyed me!
Now all rims including the spare match!]]

yes the OCD is strong with this one!!

BTW if you want to get the tires clean and back to black after wheeling I tried the Mequiar's Ultimate Insane Shine Spray and it works great!!
All I did was wash everything like normal at the self wash and then sprayed it on and let it sit. It eats through all the left over mud and drips off and BAM! everything is clean and has a very nice shine! No scrubbing or anything. I have used it 3 times now and the same result every time.

I really wish I had done 1/2 of a tire to show how well it works... maybe next time I will.

So she is now all clean and pretty looking.... like its a Mall Crawler !!

FJ's look great! I always liked that style for an OEM wheel and nice to be able to re-purpose on your rig for a fresh OEM+ look.

well I found a roof cargo box for a good price $$ and the seller had everything for it... keys hardware even the instructions!
A bit of a drive to make on Easter Sunday but no traffic at least... Baltimore to Harrisburg PA and back. It was actually not far from Roush Creek.

Not very much extra noise and it has enough room to really help empty the insides out when going on trips !

Must be something about Harrisburg. I got mine from there 6 years ago. I really appreciate the extra room when we down sized to the RX.

Perfect weather for some rust management

Pulled the 40 out of the garage to clean off the layer of dust from the new chicks we got this year. I'm so ready to get these things out in the coop.

I’ll be going in the Fall!

I added an extension to our coop yesterday and built a pass through feeder. Going from 6 to 12 chickens this year so they needed the room. Needed a little light weight helper to get to the middle 5 screws on the roof. The extension is 8x8.

added about 15 hersperas to the rig today!

Finally had a chance to put my Club stickers on and of course the Mud as well... I had them on the lower passenger rear window but the spare covered that up now so had to put some new ones on!

Also AC was not blowing cold at all... took a chance and used one of the AC recharge kits... it was LOW and is not blowing nice and cold. Hopefully that was all it was but I will put it in the shop for diag and repair if it doesnt fix it.
