Hello all, 12 year semi technical Chevota owner here trying to figure out this new fangled form of communication.
If I mess up and do somthing stupid, be patient, I'll figure it out sooner or later. Kind like how it took me two days to figure out why the Cruiser wouldn't start. My son had removed the HEI distributor one evening while trying to win a endurance race at the local race track, only to reinstall it 180 degrees off. Its good to see the mechanic thing rub off, but if he didn't before, he knows better now not to take parts off Dads FJ-40 without permission.
Since finding the site yesterday I've gone through most the resent postings and must say I think I 've found home.
Look forward to expanding my knowledge and chit chating with some folk with similar interests or should I say disease.
Not sure if they'll make it but I included a set of before and after photos.

Here's mine, in summer form. It's a '77 with about 130k miles on it. Pretty much stock everything other than a header and extended rear shackles. It needs a paint job, but is pretty clean otherwise. Since this pic, I did replace the "piece o' pipe" front bumper w/ a shorty stock style bumper.
