In the shop for new transmission.

Looking forward to the next 300k catching up to you guys
man...what happened to make the tranny need to be replaced at 120K? Also...was this sitting in a garage for 10 yrs? How is the mileage so low?

Just hit 210K on my 2006 LC. I had the cruise control set at 93 coming back from a beach trip. It's a road that has an 85 mph speed limit, if you are wondering. Truck just purred along, AHC keeping us disconnected from the road.

L.....for Land Cruiser

I mean...I've only put 15K of that. The guy who had it before did keep it in his garage but just drove it to DC 50 miles and back everyday. But he wasnt exactly super mechanically incline but largely kept it dealer maintained. I beat the S#@t out of it pretty regularly now, but its too early to tell. My suspicion is the trucks are just really way more tough than we give them credit for. When it comes to anything engine as far as parts its been all toyota oem, fluids mobil 1, everything else it depends. It has 1.5 inch lift, snorkel, modified fan clutch, but no true engine "mods". I just do the same everybody else does on here. Keep these things cool and they just keep going.

I might look into an lx with extensive repair records with 430k miles... Was wondering if you would mind messaging me what you paid for your cruiser?
