I think its an optical illusion due to the sloping toptube and angle of pic. My saddle to bar drop is only about 6-7cm.

Trek 1100 road bike

Glad to see this bike forum added to MUD! My commuter bike is a TREK 1100 that I bought for $25 @ a yard sale. It is geared with shimano LX 21spd triple crank MTB gruppo, 52/42/32 and 11/28 combo, continentals F/R, down tube shifters, Salsa QR skewers F/R.

My first childhood bike in the '60s was just like yours! Well the frame, pedals and coaster brake at least! Because I got hooked on that bike, I've been riding every year for the past 40 years.

no problem that bike is the 2002 electra New Belgium Cruiser some times i like to put it on top of the cruiser???

My newest bike is a Steelman road bike. I still have my old Tesch101 racing bike. A Bianchi pista (with a front brake) when I feel like riding a fixy. funky homebrew ross cyclocross bike for trails. The bike that gets the most use is a crappy old raleigh (waterpipe tubing frame) converted to fixed gear that I ride and lock up in the city when I commute to work.

Im from Aus so I dunno if you guys will know the bike.
Ive done a fair bit of customisation to it as I break stuff
At the moment im waitin for Christmas to come so I can get a new Headset.. crushed the bearings in it on a drop with bad landing

This is my daily rig.
Usually just throw it in the back of the FJ60 and head down to the local skate parks. Keeps me in pain.
It's a Hoffman Rhythm and I've repainted it Hyster yellow. was originally yellow. Now it's bright yellow.
And the skates are USD Grycons. I try to skate but i'm baad.

i'm down with the seat but the Euro brakes are what gets me you guys drive on the wrong side of the street and then put the rear brakes on the wrong side, why not go left side drive too.... all aside nice lookin bike chap...
