I have Yokos on a few vehicles, and like them a lot. The Wrangler tire is my old dry rotted spare off my old 80. Has a hole in the sidewall (of course), but I patched it and mounted it up just for looking at it. If I go with the 35's the front runner picks are Yoko G003's or Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I was indifferent to Nittos until I put them on the HZJ-73. So far I really like them. The ST Maxx have been decent, not my favorite.st maxx and the yokos look good and are way better tires, wrangers are ugly... and trash imo

They are. What's the safe EGT limit on these again? I need to get a gauge for ours still but I didn't think temps would be that high on the highway.
I traveled 2 hours to find a master ace tech at a performance shop (he actually builds drag race cars). The was an “easy” job for him. Just make sure you find a TIG welder. They ordered 304 stainless steel from vibrant i think, if that helps, then TIG welded it together. Most shops wont have the equipment. Find a really good welder and have then order the tubes. I went 304 stainless because it scientifically holds up better against higher diesel temps and rust.@NJ KZJ78 thats a huge drop in temp with that exhaust, thats awesome. Looks like a very well made custom setup.
I took my kzj78 into my local exhaust place and they actually turned me away. They they didnt have the right equipement to build an exhaust with such tight clearances over the frame. gotta find another shop asap.
