nice trip

I was tired from the trip but very happy with the experience, got to meet a few good men out there and saw a lot of new faces.FJC was in force and meet a few new faces also got to see some familiar faces as well, will be back next year and bring some more friends and family. The 60 should be ready next year with a new clutch and a lift i couldn't risk driving it to the beach with a smoked clutch from last year didn't get enough time to replaced it my white hi-lux did very well on the sand being stock and 31" tires.:D

We had a total blast. We didn't get many pictures though. I was completely impressed with how the 60 handled the sand. My kiddo was thrilled bouncing around the dunes.

FJs

More FJs

And Monnie's

These next ones are for Douglashuft.

He pulled Jacob (CruiserFJ45) over this lip so he wouldn't have to back down again.

The Machinist thought he was the youngest driver out there? :p Doug's 7-year old son was cruising all around.

My 11-year old wanted a turn after we saw that.

And the 9-year old.

All tired out after a day of driving the dunes.

I have some videos to upload also.

Hey Darrell, this is a sexy ass shot of my Cruiser...would you mind if I used it in my classified ad?

Sure man, not a problem at all. Glad everyone is enjoying the pics!

I still have a few more to edit at a later date. Plus some video to edit; including ones of the FJC guys burying each other's rigs. :p

Oh, and for the record, anyone that might have talked to me this weekend, that's not what my voice normally sounds like! I was just kicking a cold and lost my voice on the way down.

Keep the pics coming folks!

Nice pics! My 80 made your album. It's the blue 80 3rd pic in from the right (top row). Great night shot. Can I have a JPEG emailed to me?

Sure, just message me with your email and the pics you want, and I'll send them to you when I get off work tonight.

The dude here...got pulled over by the man (CHP) heading off the beach up Pier Ave on Sunday am. I didn't see him do anything wrong. Any follow-up story?

Yuppers... that Dude would be me:P I think CHP was waiting outside the gate for me to leave the park... I only made it 1000ft. I was pulled over for no mudflaps, was cited and given a fix it ticket. They said you need to cover the top 50% of the tire. Something tells me that the stock cruiser flaps wont cut it :P I'll be off to my local big rig shop to get some flaps to make the Nov 21st cutoff for inspection. :wrench:

Speaking of the event, It was great! As soon as I download my pics I'll add them to the thread, I led a tour of 20+ rigs through the dunes Saturday afternoon and my wife took great pics while I was driving. We also were able to make some great videos. This was the best Pismo event I've been to so far due to weather and the great mix of people. We met and hung out with a lot of old and new friends. I can't wait for next year all over again...
