Had some long days driving. Kept up on the chatter. Not much in pictures. Last night with visiting family.

Long walk today on the beach front in Half Moon Bay.

Saw large group of whales breaching 200 feet from shore. Had hard timing getting photos but here’s on.

Not great but missed the best due to dad timing

but this feels like a family you would choose
Already looking forward to next year

3,695 miles logged, 339 miles left to go to get home tomorrow.

Can’t thank everyone enough for you presence.

Really glad a great time was had by all at PP25!!! Thanks Ron for the recognition on so many things, especially the efforts by Jake and Jeff…100% agree! And you do look like a model in that hat! LOL it was great to see a good size group again this year. It is indeed the people that make this a fun trip. May we all work on and prep our 4WD Pigs for PP26!!!!

Not sure if anyone mentioned this, but Jeri put out some cherries from Evan & Bernice for me to munch on today, they are getting just right to eat, thank you for picking them for us, wish I had a tree here. The other thing we received was a ton of hand shelled walnuts from Don & Debra, Jeri gets so excited about them and I get to eat all the cookies and cakes she makes with them. Thanks so much to go through all the trouble of hand shelling them for us. What a group of great people, gives me faith in this Country that good people are still out there.

Got home today a 4:00 pm. 4,010 miles

For the past week the ignition key was struggling to turn to the on position. Takes some jiggling and coxing. Got worse by the end of this week. Today it took awhile, so I didn’t turn it off all day. Left it running while gassed up, went to lunch and took pee breaks. First thing I did when I got home, was inject some triflow into the key slot, do some key wiggling and now it works every time.

Then I spent 2 hours with flood lights and head lamp, pressure washing the under belly of my pig. I quick wash of the exterior, better job later.

Two days ago a small out leak from my drain plug got worse. I was 2 hours away from valley hybrid and gave them a call. After throwing a few of your names around. They agreed to take my pig in for a new drain gasket. They had me in and out in a flash and oil leak no more. Great people.

Tomorrow going to attack the sticky odometer tumblers and horn steering wheel contacter.

Glad to hear everyone else is back in there sty

I have a few other pics I’ll post tomorrow or monday

Be well to all

As I recall, you and Leslie were going to skip the Pig Party that year in favor of doing Magruder. Then a bunch of interlopers showed up, camped in your back 40 and joined you. So much for your "date night." Did enjoy sitting at your bar and sampling your bourbon stash.
Leslie was all like, "Um, are your friends leaving soon?".

I'm doing the exact same thing, washed the winter dust off the 53 and took the grandbabies for a ride. My plan is to drive it more than 500 miles with them while they still like riding with the grand parents..
