Washed the winter dust off the old Porsche the other day, filled it up and took Bonnie for a ride. Goal is to drive it more than the 500 or so miles put on it annually the last few years.

I'm doing the exact same thing, washed the winter dust off the 53 and took the grandbabies for a ride. My plan is to drive it more than 500 miles with them while they still like riding with the grand parents..

Yeah, if all goes well, we will be in Afton a day before meet up.

Yeah, if all goes well, we will be in Afton a day before meet up.

In a couple days I will have location/coordinates of where we will meet and camp Thursday or if you prefer you can stay in a hotel Thursday night a few miles north in Afton, WY. Friday morning head out on the trail for dispersed campsites along the way for both Friday and Saturday nights.

Both our granddaughters, nine and five years old, got long awaited rides today. Might even daily the old Porsche for the summer. Don’t tell Haggerty. Actually only a couple mornings each week to the gym and back.

The new (used) engine is in and all the minor modifications are made (we didn’t realize there were differences between and an 04 Land Cruiser and 04 Tundra 2UZ) but now we have no oil pressure for some reason. I must say I’m losing hope I’ll make my first pig party this year

Yes. I had an oil filter relocation kit due to interference. I think that's the culprit. I'm working on an alternative.
