It was a tough decision, but I am going to skip this year. I was thinking I could drive my soccer mom wagon and hitch a ride with other pig people. Just the logistics of trying to camp in a car not setup for camping and no longer having a RTT. I could also use the gas and beer money to fund the resurrection. The other thing I have going on, is I started a side business to legitimize my side work I have been doing for a decade. Certain steps I took caused me to bring in a pig ton of work. I have worked every weekend for 2 months and all of May is booked already.

I need someone to take this party to the goal. Get everyone wrangled up in a place at a time. Also, I was going to have Ace Overland do s***s. I still could do that if you would like.

I’m sorry to miss this year as well, We already had a family trip planned that week. On the plus side, Ol Papa Smurf is currently on the news stands here in town.

For the record, that’s not me. That is Eric, the Photographer’s partner. 😆

So with 2 months out should we take a poll on who is planning on coming this year?

Wish we could, especially since I've been advocating for this geography for a couple of years. But not in the cards.

Evan sent me a msg about the trail and your 🐷 event.

Jarbidge or more particular Robinson Hole is perfect for you guys! I have been exploring the area and trails the past five or so years with two trips on average per year now. Going down again sometime in May.

Last year I discovered another trail that connects to the Robinson Hole loop trail I had been running for a few years. It makes for a much longer trail and starts right in Jarbidge. There is at least three canyons on the trail that you cross, the last into Robinson Hole being the biggest. It is fantastic country and wheeling. Trails easy just some steep decents and climbs. Dan has ran it with me in his Troopy twice on the shorter loop.

Happy to hook you guys up with lots on intel as well as joining you for a night/day if you don’t mind an 80 in the group. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Cheers

Thanks for the reply , We would welcome you and any you want to bring along . I guess we need to start with a area to meet up for the first day . that would accommodate 10 rigs . for me i was thinking of Cedar Creek Reservoir for my first stop on the 11 th. looked big enough to fit us . then roll down to Jarbidge for the next stop .
Thanks for Making this public for the group , and taking the time to help us
