Ok, set your clocks. Meet up will be Friday the 25th at a place to be determined and we'll head out from there. Anybody wishing to tour Badlands Park or Mt. Rushmoor, etc. can do so on their own, we will not be going there as a group. Our Pig Party will be Friday the 25th, 26th and wrap up on Sunday the 27th. Redgrr and friends are really stepping up to make this party a good one and I'm very appreciative they are. I suggested the trails should be able to accommodate semi stock 55s. Pigeaten set the bar at the last Pig Party with his stocker.

Let's make this a fun few days we can all get together and unwind, tell lies and enjoy each others company.
I know "Cruiser" and "good folks" go hand-in-hand, but you will be hard-pressed to find a nicer group of folks than the Dakota Territory Cruisers!

It's hard enough trying to get everyone together for that. After or before that people can go their own way to explore. South Dakota offers so much to see and some have seen the more iconic places who rather not do a repeat. Some families haven't been there yet, so to fit in time for them to enjoy, we'll keep it to three days. Besides I would hate to ask more of the South Dakota group to put up with us for more then three days. :) J Mack, Riderjgs, myself all have plans to get lost on our own somewhere up there, so should be plenty to do.

We need to work on you to stay more than one day. :) :hillbilly: ;):p:worms:

There is a lot to do, for sure! One thing I like to do when I bring swimming friends up there is book a pontoon boat on Pactola lake. Great way to kill a 1/2 day, puttering around the lake.

And no snapping turtles that I have found, so far...

Im in.

Not sure what state either of my cruisers will be in at that point in time, but at the very least i'll be bringing my tacoma to hang out. Sounds like an awesome weekend! Hoping by june i can get atleast one of the cruisers back on the road. Just need to spend a few weekend with at least one of them anyway and take a break from the house.

Heck yeah man! It will be nice to finally meet you!

BHCC is scheduled for 7/15 thru 7/18. If the Pig Party is the following weekend, I get to do 2 events with 1 long trip.

Any idea when the dates and place will be finalized?
For purposes of clarity, PP '21 is before the Classic, June 25th...

Mrs. J Mack just informed me she has plans that she cannot get out of on 6/27 and won’t be home until 6/29. The following weekend would work better for us and we’ll most likely leave Idaho to head up there around 7/1 and try to hook up with @fj55-100 or whoever can reschedule somewhere around Utah and carpool up to South Dakota by the 2nd, if this works for anyone else’s schedule or you can move your schedule around we would love to drive around South Dakota and camp with you guys.

I’m not asking anyone to change the official dates you’ve already set, South Dakota was a planned trip for us this year and we will hopefully cross paths somewhere along the way.
4th of July weekend may present several challenges; for our hosts, folks in the group and just finding camping in the area,,,

I’m ok with that timeframe but finding camping will definitely be difficult. The Mount Rushmore fireworks seem to be a go this year again unless the fire season gets crazy this year. We still haven’t had much snow here. Which is BAD.

Only potential problem rescheduling to the 4th of July weekend might be camping arrangements. Holiday weekends in CO are a madhouse outdoors. Don’t know about SD.

Any major holiday is the same way around here. Most places allow for 3-6 month scheduling ahead of time. and most of the good spots book out immediately.

Either way, im down for what ever days works for everyone else. Even if i have to work, i'll catch up with who i can when i can.

BTW is Mike from DTC still rocking his 3rd gen 4runner, or did he upgrade? @Redgrrr

No mike sold that and ended up with the white 80 from bump it off road. Then sold it. Now he has a LX470 that’s super nice and built that he wheels now.

Hey boys and girls......wanted to introduce myself. My good buddy @Redgrrr called me up yesterday and said there would be a pig party in the Hills in June. He said "You want to help?"..........stupid question. Anyways, sounds like there are a pile of you guys coming up so if you have questions or need help planning I can also be a point of contact. Looking forward to this event!

I am guessing it is the same in the Black HIlls, esp. if they are doing fireworks at Mt Rushmore again.

Personally, we have plans around home for 4th of July, so we would not be able to come up 4th of July weekend.

The white 80 is gone? I know the guy ( @FJBen ) who sold it to Bump It Offroad. I always thought it would be cool if it made its way back to Ben...
