We're almost through Kansas and already blowing oil out the ARB hose. We'll have plenty to talk about around the camp fire.

61twpw, jump in something running and get out there, going to be fun.

Scrapdaddy/Ron we're coming . Sorry about you're ARB. Kansas at night itsn't bad. Be there Friday in an FJ60. Not the first choice, but a close second. My son is great for offering his 60.

Can't wait to see everyone and your rigs. Crossed the Mississippi River late last night and am tearing through Louisanna this morning. My wife, son and the 55 couldn't make it this year, but my daughter and I are in route. (We are dragging a wooden parachute behind us)

See you soon,
Deo

Was going up a grade on 14 outside Palmdale. 110 degrees out side, blew head gasket. Found shop to do a repair and have me back on road by Wednesday. Very baffled as to why..
Cross my finger... May have to über there.

That really brings the suck! Hope you can get back on the road successfully...

Also brings the suck! Hopefully these are all the snafus we will have.

From the campground website:

The Barlow Creek Road continues past the campground and crosses Bolam Pass with spectacular views. Road conditions near the pass often limit travel to four-wheel drive vehicles. The route eventually connects with the Hermosa Park Road, behind Durango Mountain Resort, and leads to U.S. Highway 550.
