It reminds me of a shop one of the managers at work had. When he and his wife relocated to Ga, they built a 120' by 120' shop with 2 story living space carved out. They lived there while her dream home was under construction. Once the dream home was done, he remodeled the living space into effectively the ultimate mancave to accommodate his multiple hobbies/passions.
The picture of this shop confirms that he is not alone in having such an amazing space.

Saw a number of places like that when we toured northern Idaho. There was one neighborhood outside Athol where every single house had at least a 2000 sq’ shop behind it. My wife, who likes to walk to the store, said 3 miles was too far for her. Then I found out that it was a stronghold for the Aryan nation, and I probably wouldn’t pass muster anyways.
